Dreamweaver vs. Expression

I think between these two I would much rather use Dreamweaver just because I started using it first. Once I switched over to Expression it just got very confusing for me since I was so use to Dreamweaver and in Expression all the buttons are in different places. I think they both generally do the same kind of thing but like I said before I would rather use Dreamweaver. I also think that out of these Dreamweaver is a lot less confusing.

Fireworks

I think that overall fireworks made it a lot easier to manage the site that you are trying to create. There is one thing that I kind of find a nuecence and that is trying to find the actual tool you are wanting to use. I like how you can easily crop the picture and then easily get ride of the canvas so it does not show up and look all disgusting. I think you can do a lot more in fireworks then you will ever be able to do in paint plus the name is a million times cooler then just plain old paint.

Christian website vs. Secular website

I believe that there is really no such thing as a christian design even though I know some people probably think other ways. I do think however, that there are certain things that should not be put on a website that is particularly made for a church or other such christian ideas. I don't think there are individual differences that need to be pointed out. I think it is kind of a good idea to use some secular ideas to get your point across to the public and those who do not believe in God to show them that what there doing and that their ways are wrong and that God wants them to come to him that is what I think is important.

Dreamweaver vs. Html

In this post I will be trying to convey my opinion  on Dreamweaver verses HTML. In my personal experiences I would most likely have to say that dreamweaver is my choice of web design software. I like
dreamweaver better because it is a whole lot easier to get stuff done and create tables and whatever you want to create really. I also think it is a lot faster to get your work done and a whole lot more efficient. You will still need to take your time so you don't make any stupid mistakes but I would really rather use dreamweaver then html. Mainly because it is easier to make tables and you don't have to go back and forth to make sure you got everything you wanted right in the actual website.

tables and frames

Both table and frames are ways to organize data into a more readable and understandable format. These to are able to be put into a format that is used on a website too. I think I would most likely have to go with tables if i was picking a  favourite. I think tables are a little harder to make but in the end are easier to understand.

Book Review

Well first off I would really recommend this book to whoever is trying to learn how to use html. This book on explaining html and how to use it efficiently. I think at least to me it hits all of the main points and explains what you really need to know about what you are trying to learn about. If you are trying to learn about something specific then you can basically just skim the book and look at the headings and chances are you will find what you are looking for. I like the headings because it really gets strait to the point without confusing you. I would like to thank the people in charge of making this book and making it easy to learn and find what you are looking for. Thanks!

Adding pictures

By adding pictures to a post or an advertisment it makes that paper or post a whole lot more interesting and pleasing to the eye then just a whole bunch of words. I know that I like looking at pictures and words other then just words cause everyone likes to have a image to see what it is like and what you are actually talking about.

My page layout

On the whole page I would have a big picture of just someone laughing maybe with a child in it since my website is funnyquotes.com. I would most likely set that back in the back ground and then at the top of the page I would have a big title that says Funny Quotes. The words to this title would be in the color of red with a black background. The page would have all the list of quotes on it and you will be able to scroll down and see any you would like, or there would be a tabe on the side that says, dates if your would like to go there and go to a certain date to find a quote. There will also be a tab that says, add a quote and it is there where you will be able to add a quote if you click on it. At the bottum of the page there will be a place where you can click to go straight back up to the top of the page. On the right side of the page it will be a place for adds if I choose to add some on there. This is some of what my page will look like.

Why HTML

Why should we learn and use html? This is the question that has come before me so I can answer. From what I have seen and also learned about html already, it is a very useful to be a little more organized. I have to admit for me it was a little confusing at first since you had to first use all the carrots and slashes and such but as I used it I did get more use to it. HTML is a useful source to use to be able to right a quick paper and notes if you would rather take notes on the computer. I can see someone, somewhere using this source just to take easy and quick notes. It is aslo very easy to put a link to another website on what you are righting on which could also be useful if you are needing to show a website to someone in an email or something.

Good design

Now you have to excuse me if I seem not to know what I am talking about because really I don't. I am not very good at art at all or I do not understand much about it. What I think a good design has to have to actually be good has to have partial reality, real or shaded color, and it comes from something else then an idea in your head. What I mean by that is you have to have an experience in the past that you have actually encountered or seen before. You could also possibly do one of a person that is very important to you or even possibly you don't like very much. This is truely all a matter of opinion each person could be different and think different things and not go with what I have said which is fine.

My Website

Hi this is Joe here wanting to tell you guys about my new website idea. This idea of mine is to make a website that people can put funny quotes on that they hear throughout the day. My website name would simply by funnyquotes.com. This website would try to draw in the students such as my self around this high school and possibly even the middle school if they so desire to join us in this. There will also be a strict policy of no inappropriate lenguage or wordage in this site. This is just to give some kids a good laugh after a horrible day of school. Thanks for listening to my website idea comment if you think this would be a good idea and also give me some feed back if you think it would be a deacently bad idea. Thanks.

Summer Fun

This summer was a fun filled adventure starting from the first week all the way through the last week. I went with my youth group to a lake in Kentucky to live on house boats for a week and go tubing, skiing and all sorts of summer fun. As a little side note the first day I went out boating I got one of the tubing ropes right in my eye and actually had to get some stitches. The second week I was headed to Jamaica for about two weeks to meet a team from Kokamo and do some school ministers there. I then went to two straight weeks of TLC in a row which was kind of fun. I then had a couple weeks off and then I headed to Haiti which was one of the best experiences I have ever had. It was so humbling to watch the people that had literally nothing, some of them not even clothing, as I drove by in a car.  This is the first of many blogs be excited for more to come.
